A good, dark purple colour. The nose has aromas of sweet, ripe berry fruits including currants, blackberry/cassis, spicy, dried fruits and a good hint of oak. The palate is full-bodied with a good bit of sweetness. There are flavours of baked and dried fruits, slight raisin, haerbaceous notes, plum and spice. This is a powerful, yet supple and plump wine with good sweet fruit character, roundness and a long, persistent finish.
