Cotton Gin, is a delectable blend of aromatic botanicals including Yorkshire Watercress, English coriander and hand foraged spruce, making this a fragrant and herbaceous Gin.
Why 'Cotton' Gin?
The distillery is in an old 18th century, five storey cotton and silk mill on the banks of the River Aire which, in its day produced the finest quality yarn and silk, powered by a small steam engine and water wheel. The ladies at Otterbeck Distillery wanted their Gin to reflect the history of this stunning buildings beginnings, therefore naming Cotton Gin after one of the machines used.
To further honour the history, their magnificent hand engineered four hundred and fifty litre copper still is named Eliza after the mill owners wife.
