Nose Aromas of red cherry, tobacco leaf, white pepper and tapioca over notes of peppermint, cinnamon and ginger.
Palate Medium in body with a creamy, pomegranate-tinged attack; the mid-palate is centred on juicy red currant fruit woven into refined tannins; the edges are supple, while delicate acidity provides lift and definition throughout; the tannins subside on the back end, giving way to concentrated black raspberry and blueberry fruit and lingering, savoury accents of fresh thyme and sage.
