Nose Aromas of Asian pear, ripe red apple, vanilla bean, fresh cream and clementine, with cinnamon and clove in behind.
Palate Dry and full bodied, with a stony feel and a light florality up front; the mid-palate saline, with a mineral underpinning, plush edges and extracted Mutsu apple flavours; generous in feel, a seam of salty acidity brings clarity and definition, drawing notes of citrus rind, crême brûlée and wet stone into a layered, persistent finish.
