Using a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and some native varieties to the North East of Italy, this wine flies under the radar being classified as a 'table wine'. Using some winemaking techniques of more revered wines like Amarone and some oak ageing, Cabaletta offers serious value for money. Lots of bright redcurrant and red cherry fruit character, with some prune and spicy oak influence make this a complex wine, whilst remaining nicely balanced. Full bodied on the palate, with a long finish. Pairs well with roasted white and red meats; pasta with rich sauces; and matured cheeses.
